the federal government has made a concerted effort to find out why so many children struggle with learning to read. Early introduction of reading in children improves literacy, social behavior, emotional regulation and development leading to better self esteem and greater chance of educational success in future rewarding both children and parents.
Children are born to learn. Young children
are very eager to read and learn. They are capable of understanding and actively building knowledge at an early age. Research has demonstrated that virtually all young children have the capability to learn. Findings on children study shows that between the ages of two and five children begin the learning process and books are a great way to foster that process.
